I haven't been blogging but that doesn't mean that I haven't been exercising... not every day like I should but it's been fairly consistent. Honestly I feel bad for Parrish because he's been encouraging me and I've been ignoring him. I have to stop that!
7.14 - 7.17
This week has been made of FAIL! I ran Monday, intended to run Tuesday-Friday and didn't quite make it. Sonja got bit by the boss's dog and her foot got infected, and although she valiantly tried to keep our running schedule we didn't end up doing anything. I think I had to work late sometime in there too. Thursday & Friday were the most fun though - we decided to hit Ladies Night at Bogart's and had half price martini's and entrees (it had been a really bad day), and then there was Bloody Mary Friday at work, where I was introduced to Bakon Vodka. Good times!
7.1 - 7.13
I'm just going to give you the quick and dirty on these since they seem so long ago - running, walking, volleyball, more running and push-ups! Sonja & I have added push-ups to our running. we're following http://www.hundredpushups.com/ and I maxed out at 3 pushups, done on my knees, which makes me a big weenie but it was to be expected. After the first week I've accomplished 23 pushups (on my knees)... which sounds impressive, but they are done in intervals so I'm not doing them all at once. This inspired a push-up challenge at work, Nick did 30, Emily did 25, and Tracy (who's very small) amazed everyone and did 50. I wish we had gotten that all on video!
