Blerg

I think the only way for me to get back up to 4-5 days a week working out is to start over again - and workout 20 days in a row (or close to it). Yesterday restarted my workout "clock" so I did my walking intervals... which I won't get into since I've done it so much that you guys probably know it by heart.

Today, Day 2, Natalie sent me some "booty busting" workouts from Shape magazine, and while I am one with my derriere (especially after going down a pants size), I still like the interval workout. Here's what I did:

1.) 4 min warm-up at 1% incline and 3.5 mph
2.) 1 min walk at 4 mph, 2% incline
3.) 1 min fast walk/run at 4.5 mph, 2% incline
4.) 1 min walking recovery at 3.5 mph, 2% incline
5.) repeat steps 2-4, 7 times
6.) 4 min cool-down, 1% incline

Total time: 26 mins
Distance: 1.5 miles
Calories: 247

While this wasn't the hardest workout I was still able to get my heart rate up and get moving. I'm also thinking about getting something to work out my abs. While I don't think my belly is a problem area per se, I could stand to strengthen up my core - plus it'll help my lower back pain. Damn, I'm old!

  1. I need to work on my core A LOT. I look like I have a food baby on the way...
