I took yesterday off so I could nurse my calf muscle... and by nurse I mean sit on my ass and watch movies all day =) This morning I woke up bright and early and decided to take a walk on the treadmill - no intervals, no running and it worked out pretty well. After 30 mins I ended up walking 1.7 miles and burned over 200 calories and I'm sweating like a mutha so I feel that I got a beneficial workout. My calf muscle seemed okay today, I think I'm going to walk the next couple of days just to give it some extra time.
Sonja and I briefly talked about the 5k at lunch yesterday but so far we haven't signed up. I am excited to have someone to run/walk with after work next week so that will be fun!
My goal for today - catch up on my food diary. I've written everything down but haven't done any of the calorie addition... I ate better than I did the week before so it can't be that bad, right?

Jamie, you should definitely sign up for a race/walk organized event. You wont believe the motivation it provides.. I used to run 5k's and it was always a great time.
