Back on the Wagon

Right so yesterday I missed my alarm and didn't exercise and who was I kidding that I was going to do it after work? LOL anyway, I took the day off yesterday so I'm counting today as Day 9 in my 20 day mission to workout.

It was too cold to go outside so I decided to do my Weight Loss Yoga workout and I didn't last very long at all. My legs do okay but about 10 mins in my arms are burning so much that I have to cool down. In fact my legs and tummy are so okay I just hope I'm doing the positions correctly! What I like about the DVD though is that the people on it are a variety of body types - so not everyone is the thin, toned, in shape yoga gurus and it's nice to see them wobble a little bit. It makes me feel normal. =) Jagger really had a hard time with corpse pose though - he felt it was an excuse to come lick my face while I was trying to cool down. silly dog.

I'm thinking about getting a couple of more workout DVDs to add to the mix in case I can't get outside, something like kickboxing or abs or something like that. I may try the Biggest Loser series again since they are on just about everything. Hopefully tomorrow it will be warm enough to go outside!


I changed my profile pic to my dog Jagger - the puppy with the beer and cigarette was funny, but I agree that after awhile it was just sad.
