On the advice of my friend Mel I bought "The Biggest Loser Workout Weight Loss Yoga" at BJ's yesterday ($9.99) and Parrish decided to join me today. This may have been the funniest yoga workout I've had since I started 3 days ago.
The video started out with a 5-minute warm-up and that's how I found out that Parrish has worse balance then I do. We were laughing so hard at him trying to get into the lunge and his hands on his knees that I'm not sure we tried to get the poses right. He quit about 5 mins into the workout, however I was proud of him for giving it a go. He hates Bob now =)
The easiest pose in this video is the Downward Facing Dog - which isn't easy for me at all! I didn't really enjoy getting an up close look at my thighs - I readily admit to having some cellulite but that's why I'm working out right? The whole workout is 20 mins (not including the warm-up and cool down) and I lasted 13. A pretty good start I think considering my arms and legs were burning and my heart rate was definitely up.
I'm definitely thinking about a walk/jog later today - it's such a beautiful day it would be a shame not to get outside!

The hardest part about yoga for me was getting my wrists not to hurt! Once I built up some strength it was a lot better. Also, I was tending to take to much weight on my arms. If you push back into your heels in downward dog, it makes it a little easier.
