I had this nice log blog post all written out telling you all about my workout and my hopes and dreams until the damn post thingy wouldn't let me change the font and erased it all and then chose that moment to auto save. GGGRRR!!!
Anyway, I did half the treadmill workout I did yesterday but I rationalized that since my incline% started at 2% that it must go to 12% so I upped the incline every interval...but it doesn't so I ended up doing nearly 6 mins of my workout at a 10% incline and my legs & butt are killing me. I have no idea if that makes sense, but I'm not ashamed that I only did 19 mins of the workout because I did the hard half =)
I was reading an article that touted the benefits of weight lifting, and now I'm convinced I have to weight lift even though I have neither the means or the equipment. It's not like I want to get all 'roided out or anything, but I would like to see some muscle definition! I used to work out twice a week back in the day and I never got too bulky... one day I'll get to join a gym...
UPDATE: Interesting article on digg.com about your body (http://digg.com/d1pAb9). I'm interested to try #15 - placing a mirror near your treadmill makes the workout go faster. I'll let you know how it goes.

You can do most workouts with a few sets of dumbbells, and they're not too expensive. I don't think I ever use more than the 12 or 15-pound one, and then usually I'm only using one at a time.
ReplyDeleteJamie you are awesome! Next time you feel like nitpicking yourself in traffic turn on "I Touch Myself" or "Like A Virgin" at full blast and sing along. ;-)
