I bought these boxer briefs for girls on a whim (they looked really cute on the model on the package) and I hate them but found out that they make great running shorts. indoors only of course, can you imagine what the rich people across the street would do if I went jogging around their neighborhood half dressed? lmao
I did the last day of Week 1 couch to 5k and I cranked the intensity up a bit - I ran at 6 mph 60 second intervals and walked 2 mins at 3.7 mph... then I made sure that on my treadmill I worked out for at least 20 mins, burned 180 calories and went 1.5 miles. Sounds like a lot but with the intervals all I needed was an extra long cool down and I hit all 3 markers.
Tomorrow I think I'm going to take a rest or do something light (yoga?). I've beaten myself up pretty good over the last 3 days so I think I deserve it.

Jamie you are my inspiration! I have been doing the first stage.... thinking about exercising!
ReplyDeleteI feel I eat fairly healthy and know that I need to get in shape - they say that your 30's is when your body starts going to pot. I figure I did not do anything when I was 30 and 31 is starting to see it's end. SO! I bought Crunchless Abes. Now all I need to do is go to the next stage Start Exercising!
Because of you being so presistant with your work out; I am going to start!
